The short version

• We never receive, store or see your emails or attachments.
• Attachments go directly from your mail provider (Google or Microsoft) to your computer.
• We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind in the extensions.
• Nothing about you reaches us. If you buy Pro, your licence key is checked with our payment provider.

What the extensions do with your data

Saving from your open mailbox (Gmail, and Outlook's Quick Save mode)

Mailora works inside the Gmail or Outlook on the web tab you are already signed in to. When you start a run, it opens each email in the list you chose, reads the attachment names, the sender and the date shown on the page, and uses the mailbox's own Download button to save each file. It uses the sender, date and subject only to name the saved files. All of this happens in your browser, on your device.

To be able to resume an interrupted run, the extension keeps a small progress record in your browser's local storage: which list you were saving, which emails and files were already done, and the counts shown in the progress screen. It is deleted when the run finishes or is stopped, and it never leaves your device.

Turbo (Outlook, Pro)

Turbo asks you to sign in with Microsoft and requests read-only access to your mail (Mail.Read), your basic profile (User.Read, openid, profile) and permission to stay signed in between sessions (offline_access). The extension then talks to the Microsoft Graph API directly from your browser to list emails and download attachments. The sign-in tokens are stored in your browser's local storage and are only ever sent to Microsoft. Signing out removes them.

Your settings

Your choices, such as file-name patterns and the email limit, are stored in your browser's local storage.

Payments and licence keys

Pro is sold through Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record and handles the payment under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details from Dodo Payments so we can support your licence.

When you activate Pro, the extension sends your licence key and a device label (for example "Mailora for Gmail · macOS · 2026-09-28") directly to Dodo Payments to confirm the key, and re-checks it about once a week. The first time, your browser asks you to allow this connection. Nothing else is sent, and none of it includes your mail.

Permissions, and why each one is needed

• Access to mail.google.com or the Outlook on the web sites: to save attachments from your mail tab.
• Downloads: to save attachments and name them the way you chose.
• Site settings: to allow your mail site to download several files in a row, so the browser doesn't stop a run to ask. You can change this back in your browser's site settings.
• Side panel, storage and tabs: to show the panel next to your mail, keep your settings and progress, and know which mail tab is open.
• Identity and Microsoft Graph (Outlook only): to sign in with Microsoft for Turbo.
• Dodo Payments (asked for only when you activate Pro): to check your licence key.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Google and Microsoft by these extensions adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide the attachment-saving feature you asked for; it is never sold, never used for advertising, and never transferred to third parties.
